Gripfisk was established in 2008 by a group of people from Kristiansund with extensive experienced from the wellboat industry. As pioneers in the wellboat industry the first wellboat, Hølingen was built in 1965. Later we have been in involved in operations, ownership and building of boats like Ole Knut, Veidnes, Gunnar Junior, Seifjord, Ivar Senior, Ronjafisk, Gripfisk, Grip Superior and Grip Transporter.
ABOUT US
AquaShip is the result of a merger between GripShip AS and Johnson Marine Ltd in July 2018, with a subsequent acquisition of Artic Shipping AS two months later.
The merger has made us the first shipping company in the world to own and operate vessels in all four main areas of maritime aqua service: Service vessels, harvest vessels, live fish carriers and feeding carriers.
Although we operate all over the world, our decentralized organization brings us close to our customers and their markets. This – combined with years of experience – makes us a natural partner for both large and small fish farming companies.

Artic Shipping was acquired by Aquaship in 2018 and changed its name to Aquaship Feedtrans. The company has long and versatile experience in feed transport worldwide.
AquaShip UK Ltd. (former Johnson Marine Ltd.) are the industry leaders in on-site harvesting. The company has decades of experience, friendly crews and wellboats fitted with the best fish handling equipment.
Gripship offer all wellboat operations and provide workboats and bulk fish food transportation. Gripship have also been involved as crew on vessels worldwide.
